I'd like to get a start on CAD & Rhino before or during my summer intro course. Also, I see that most entry level arch jobs require these things. Do you all know of any good (and cheap) classes in NYC? Also is CAD and Rhino what I should be after?

cheapest would be Lynda.com at $25/month and doing it on your own.

if rhino, then also grasshopper --- also look at digital toolbox website for great tutorials --- vray and/or maxwell plugin(s) for rendering --- online tutorials are great --- lynda.com is great --- think rhino training in either NYC or at Stevens Institute in hoboken was just announced on rhino's website --- www.rhino3d.com --- in the news section
