Actually Crazy 8's were more polotical ska. Hazel definitely grunge.

someone just sent a disc to me that included a song by the headstones (1985), an australian band. never heard of them before but i think they're my new favorite.
also included a great song called 'rattlesnake kiss' by the green pajamas.
