I thought this would be the right place to ask for some advice so writing my situation..
I have been working as a architectural graduate for about 5 years, since my third-fourth year I’ve always thought I wanted to move on to a new office. (As I thought I felt some limitation in terms of learning architectural designs in my current position) So I searched for new job (architectural grad role) for about a year now, some jobs didn’t go ahead although I liked the job since COVID.
I now have a potential role that may go ahead, but this is for a architectural department within a land consultant company. The only concern for me is whether moving away from a traditional architectural office a good move to make. Also just quite afraid if I may not be able to come back a design led office.
As it is my first move in my career and Im still in my late 20s, I do think challenging myself into a new job is a good move. Also I’ve been searching for quite a while now.. so quite in need for a change. However I want to ask if anyone had similar experience like me.
i mean.. I haven’t got an offer or anything yet but just putting it out there so it may help me making right decision for any next opportunity.
thanks!

I don't mean this as completely dismissive, but you probably shouldn't rely on anonymous people on an internet forum for this type of advice. Which will make this next part a little hypocritical as I'll give you my advice...
Ask a colleague or mentor you trust to help you with this decision. They will know you better than we will, and will hopefully have your best interests in mind.
