Not sure if this makes entirely any sense, but I was wondering if anybody here uses virtual reality to visualize or experience architecture. I use Inception and Tron as a reference although we haven't quite reached the technology depicted in the movies, but virtual reality has come a long way and with the use of game engines like unreal and unity, creating 3D worlds is quite easy nowadays. I would love to just create a 3D city and walk around it to gain inspiration, I was wondering if anybody had the same idea. I think we are just scratching the surface of what is possible.

I was hoping SecondLife would get there but I haven't checked on it in at least ten years.

I use VR to examine the spaces I design, but I don't think that's what you mean.
