I am about to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, but I have been interested in pursuing architecture as my career. I have been pressured by my parents to get a full time engineering job ASAP and get my Master's at night, but that option would change my 3 year degree to a longer degree. I have little interest in an engineering job, and I would much rather enjoy pursuing my M.Arch. However if I immediately pursue an engineering job, I would benefit financially. Should I follow their advice or should I pursue my Master's?

In a similar situation, only in civil engineering and I have not graduated. I have decided to purse architecture regardless after I graduate in 2 years
