I am a 4th year student studying Urban Forestry in UBC that is looking for some suggestions. I see a lot of top universities requires students to have architecture background and only some doesn't (UBC, U of T). Universities from English speaking countries is preferred but if the program is taught in English than it would be fine. Thanks

Stay in Canada if you want to eventually work in architecture in canada. School is much cheaper here. 8-)
Also, since you're already at UBC, set up a meeting from some of the arch school's faculty and discuss what you can do as a portfolio. Visit the studios and talk to students. Plenty will not have any arch background.
