I guess I don't really know what Tinder is, and I'm an old married person, but in my mind Tinder and Grindr are the same thing, one specifically for homosexual meetups the other not.
Lian, can you expand a little more on what you mean? I do think the opportunity for potential students to read a profile of schools, all on the same framework so they are easily comparable, would be great.

I would want a little more than just a one night stand with my architecture school though, and I don't know if those kind of service models can provide that.

But Trevor, sometimes one-night-stands stick and end up as marriages! Maybe you go to the school, graduate, stay on as an adjunct, get full professorship....

That does happen, I'm not really looking for a serious commitment. I'd like to take some classes at other universities, maybe even try other degree programs before settling down. It's not the university's fault, I'm just not in the place of my life where I can see myself as an alumni for one school for the rest of my life.

Thanks for the thoughts, all! Just brainstorming in a really open-ended way. ACSA will be overhauling our Guide to Architecture Schools over the next year, so it's an opportunity for us to think about how we can help people learn about schools--and particularly, how we can help prospective students get a sense of architecture schools overall and what the differences are between schools.
This is a pretty frequent question that people ask in the forums--what is school X or Y like?--so I'm wondering what you think might be a helpful resource to help answer that question.

The similar framework is key, IMO. The same set of 32 questions asked and answered by each school, everything from 'What is annual tuition?" to "If your program was an animal, what would it be?"

I've been working on a platform that may be useful for that purpose as well. I've been collecting student work across schools on pitcrit (http://pitcrit.com). We're not trying to highlight star students but try to organize the projects as groups according to year, school, critic, etc. As more people from different years and schools join in, it will become more useful for searching for schools that may be producing the type of work that interests the prospective student.

@ROB4 Thanks! I think Super Architects is def going for selectivity, but their projects are great regardless. We are trying to go for breadth than depth for now. We'll leave it up to the viewers to find depth in the uploaded works.
