About

I am an assertive "New Talent" Interior Design graduate eager to accept new challenges and learning opportunities in a design firm to collaborate with other designers.  I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Design from San Jose State University.

I have a wide range of technical skills such as Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD, MS Office programs, and Revit Architecture.  My work history demonstrates a strong work ethic. An example to demonstrate my organizational and interpersonal skills was when I worked for Tom Linn Drafting and Design as an architectural drafter/ residential layout designer, prioritizing and multitasking on multiple projects while collaborating with clients, contractors, and structural engineer. I personally met each client at the property site to discuss the scope of the project and taking their requests into consideration to meet permit and construction requirements.

An example to demonstrate my ability to work assertively, efficiently, and independently was when I first started working for 1st United Service Credit Union as a “floater” bank teller, traveling to and from the 9 branch locations. With initiative and quickness of mind I familiarized myself with each branch’s filing system and log reports for documentation and how each branch manager executed the credit union policies and procedures. I efficiently processed both withdrawals and deposits of over 100 daily customer transactions with a balanced cash drawer of $5000 through a demonstrated knowledge and dexterity in using Teller equipment and systems.

I’m eager to take on a design job experience as a learning opportunity by involving myself on all aspects of the job. My work ethic is very professional. I take the initiative to effectively complete all my tasks and be creative; I evaluate and asses any challenge with diligence and will go the extra mile.
