Mike Christenson, AIA, is a registered architect in Minnesota and North Dakota, and a Professor of Architecture at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
Christenson’s research examines questions of architectural epistemology: how knowledge about architecture is structured, organized, and disseminated. Christenson has published and presented his research nationally and internationally and is an Associate Editor for the international journal Architectural Science Review. At the University of Minnesota, Christenson currently teaches beginning design.
As a Principal at dandelab (Design and Energy Laboratory, LLC), together with Malini Srivastava, he is a 2014 recipient of an AIA North Dakota Honor Award for the architectural design of the Horizon House in Moorhead, Minnesota.
