I’m a designer enamored with the interdisciplinary potential of the design industry, with professional experience in architecture, urban design, publications, and installations. My experience is grounded in the cross-disciplinary nature of the profession, and emerging potential of new typologies.
In the professional sector, my experience has primarily dealt with urban design and planning, commercial and residential building applications, and branding. Personal affinity for research and journalism have unlocked key supplementary skill sets relevant to the industry and firm setting.
Explorations and contextual-driven studies via fellowships in 12+ countries with focus on various scales of design have amounted to functional relevance for professional work. This has involved studying massive infrastructure and urbanism via impactful public and private entities including: Aberdeen City Council, Energetica UK, Buro Happold, Expedition Engineering, Schlaich Bergermann und Partner, and Hopkins Architects. Research focused on socio-political and economic links with national identity.
