I am a recent graduate from the University of Portsmouth (England) with a Bachelors degree in Architecture. Now that my part 1 studies are finished I am looking to begin using the skills I have gained and my passion for architecture and design in a professional setting. I am a very organised, reliable and conscientious person, and others would describe me as quite a perfectionist. I enjoy working as part of a team and also ensuring that the team succeeds, however I am also confident when given the responsibility to assume an independent role.

I am a student from the UK looking to work for 6 - 12 months as an intern in a USA firm. I am passionate about working in the USA as I know this would help me to gain the experience and greater knowledge that I need to further my later studies. In addition to my academic qualifications I have also undertaken short periods of work experience in varied fields of the construction industry. My skills include a proficient knowledge of Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Microsoft office and the Adobe creative suite, along with operating systems of both Mac OS X and PC. I also have some experience with Autodesk Revit and Archicad but I am confident in my ability to quickly master the use of most programs with additional training.
