About

Exceptional design is a beautiful combination of a limited number of factors. Too few and the design is underwhelming; too many and the result is muddled and ineffective. A truly great product falls within the intersecting forces that are specific to every opportunity. Possible solutions are infinite but few are simple and balanced enough to make a great product.

I strive to identify these forces, balance them, and create exceptional things. I am not guided by style but rather a set design principles that I have picked up through experience and exploration. I am curious, ambitious, and optimistic and often draw inspiration from the worlds of architecture, interiors, graphic design, furniture design, nature, and culture. At the end of the day I am concerned with providing a great product that supports a clear purpose with a twist of unconventional creativity.
