Over the years MLA has become accomplished with details that articulate a number of historical styles, ranging from neo-renaissance, to craftsman, to the urban industrial loft, to the classic ranch. This understanding helps us to reconcile the old and new; either through modern counterpoint to an older structure, as a continuum within the existing style, or as a combination of these approaches. In these projects, we strive to identify and enhance the best aspects of the older seasoned structure while introducing fresh ideas and current technologies.
