Unlike other projects, this studio required the examination and thorough understanding of a remote site uniquely located on the Point Reyes Peninsula. This was achieved through preliminary work that included a "Road-Cut Collage' and the design of land art. The comprehension gained from these exercises was then used to develop a conscious building proposal for an off-grid visitor center.
