The Landformation Catalogue focuses on revealing generative and operative methods of landform design and construction. Communicating the formative relationships embedded in constructed landforms across scales and geographies, the Landformation Catalogue establishes a morphology of physical definitions and a taxonometric organization of environmental effects. By combining graphic illustrations, simulations, and digitally fabricated artifacts, the research provides conceptual correlations between material processes and landscape design.
Developed by Zaneta Hong + Michael Leighton Beaman [Beta-field], the exhibition will be on display from March 26 - May 15, 2015 at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, 48 Quincy Street Cambridge, MA 02138 USA.
