During the ages, human beings have always been in need of expressing themselves. In the early ages; hand-arm power was the main weapon, whereas in today’s world; expression of the ideas or the feelings can be illustrated by many different tools.Imagine a musician; dramatic sound of his/her instrument can lead to a special journey on the melodies or the notes, or a film director could use the camera to show the time-movement-spatial relationship from his/her point of view. But above all; the main argument is to design a piece whether it is physical or intangible, and it is also regardless of the tool or the equipment. I decided to make this journey on the edges of the lines, forms and the ideas. Inserting the other disciplines into the architectural logic and linking them in an intangible 3d plane is my main goal. I have been dreaming of this relation throughout my academic and professional career. Because in my mind, I have always been keeping the quote of Albert Einstein, which is; “Imagination is more important than knowledge.’’ I can consider that my greatest weapon is to achieve a design level that encapsulates different disciplines in its body. Linking the different approaches into urban and architectural scale, such as humor, publicness, multitude could make the design more diverse. If we think about humor approach; the type of humor on the verbal plane, that has contradiction or repetition kinds, can find its responses on the tangible plane such as repetitive windows or the contradictory forms on the façades.
Searching for the innovation, analyzing the entire mass and breaking down into its parts, induction – deduction…these words stand where I look at.

‘‘Using the joke as a form of political praxis to shake the resistance of the status quo’’
During my studies at the University of Brighton I had a chance to link the different approaches into urban and architectural scale such as humor, publicness, multitude. Combining these terms into 3d spaces gave me different point of views and increased my vision about how architecture can shape.
