Marisa Nemcik

Baltimore, MD, US

I am an Architectural Designer who is focused on creating spaces which inspire interaction and learning in many forms. I have an innate sense of curiosity and an attuned sense of community, which I use to help create solutions to better serve those for whom I design.

I've been told by colleagues that I have a well developed sense of spatial/aesthetic design and great organizational skills. I enjoy working collaboratively within a team and coordinating with clients/consultants. I love research, programmatic/project analysis, and design development, and have found I am most successful with projects which place a high value on these aspects.

My experience thus far has covered a range of scales and markets. I have worked on Mixed-Use Multi-Family, Higher Education, Student Housing, Civic, Installation, and Interior projects. I have experience in multiple aspects of each project from programming and planning, to design development and construction documents.

In my free time love to travel and experiment in the kitchen. Food is another passion of mine, I see it as a way to connect with people and learn about other cultures and traditions.
