I'm an architect and strategist who is passionate about designing spaces which foster community, inspire connection, and stimulate learning.
I am driven by the integration of focused research and design, with thoughtful detailing. My strengths include engaging users in programming and design development, as well as leading teams through construction documentation and administration, helping to effectively implement the identified project goals.
My project experience has covered a range of scales and markets including: Mixed-Use, Multi-Family, Higher Education, Student Housing, Healthcare, Civic, and Installation projects.
I enjoy designing for the “whole student,” knowing that growth doesn’t just happen in the classroom. My expertise lies in collaborating with Higher Education institutions on a variety of academic, housing, and student-life spaces. By pairing research with direct user group insight, I work to craft a redefined experience which supports the academic success, social development, and wellness of today's students as well as future generations.
Outside of my professional work, I am active in supporting youth education and mentorship. I help lead community outreach efforts engaging with youth through design thinking and architecture exploration, and emerging designers through professional development and leadership programming. I am also a member of CannonDesign’s Next Council, where I engage with offices and leadership across the firm on initiatives surrounding client engagement and leveraging technology and data.
In my free time, I love to travel and experiment in the kitchen. I am passionate about food and how it can connect people, as well as allow us to learn from other cultures and traditions.

Visual Artist : Light Installation, Award
Our project submission was chosen by a jury of five from over 150 pieces submitted for the inaugural Light City Baltimore Festival.
Our project, LightWave: Baltimore's Beacon, is located at the Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse at Pier V, and focuses on the translation of sound into waves of light visualization.
The installation brings to light the words and sounds of WYPR's Out of the Blocks Series that focuses on telling the stories of each of Baltimore's unique neighborhoods.
My role was Project Manager of the team of nine. I created the project proposal, organized the project team and schedule, and coordinated festival logistics and budget with BOPA. I was also instrumental in conception of the overall design and final construction of the piece.
