Ever since I was younger I was always trying to find new ways to express myself and my creativity. When I found interior design as a child I loved the idea of creating a something that is used on a daily basis but had no idea that it could become a career path.
Since I began studying interior design in 2013 my passion for all things design has only grown. I have interned in both Chicago and Los Angeles for residential firms and been exposed to many different styles of design. I love how design is constantly changing and challenging to the designer to keep up with times and continue to be creative and innovative.

As a design intern for a small residential company, I had a very hands on experience. I helped my boss source for materials and make furniture selections. I collaborated with my boss to create client presentations where I also created 3D models to show to clients. I was also taken to client site visits to see how the entire design process from start to finish happens.
Soucie Horner Ltd., Chicago, IL, US, Design Intern
Soucie Horner is a majority high end residential firm, however when I was with them I was given the opportunity to help start to launch the hospitality branch of Soucie Horner. Through this, I digitally rendered sketches, elevations and images using Photoshop and InDesign to put in presentation packages. I also organized and categorized the company material library in addition to assisting the administrative lead.
