Melissa is currently pursuing her Master of Architecture at the University of Cincinnati. During her education she has lived and worked in Portland, Oregon and Chicago, Illinois. Most recently Melissa placed in the 2015 Lyceum Travel Fellowship and spent the summer conducting field research in Europe. Melissa is currently exploring her thesis on rural distilleries and is seeking employment beginning July 2016.

Conducted research on Midwestern vernacular building techniques and their translation into digital processes. In collaboration with Margen Lab proposed an academic pavilion for ACADIA 2015.

Worked with a team of four to execute Design Development for a Fire Rescue facility in New York. Emphasis on material research and detail investigation. Work included set development, client presentations, and model building.
Works Progress Architecture (W.PA), Portland, OR, US, Design Intern
Schematic and Design Development support for micro-unit multi-family housing, creative workspaces, and educational environments. Tasks included visualization, model fabrication, DAR packages, and CAD drawing.
