The Project Site is located Inside the Qatar University, Qatar. The Project

involves Construction, Completion and Maintenance of Central Services Unit 4 (CSU4) Packaged
Water Chiller Plant at Main Campus, Qatar University. CSU4 will be energy sourcing many buildings in
the Qatar University complex.
The Project Comprises of the Construction of Central Service Unit 4 within the premises of Qatar
University. The plot site has area of 10,363.74 Sq. M. Total construction area including external road
will be 13,733.96 sq. m.
Construction of Central Service Unit 4 building comprises of construction of Basement, Ground Floor
and Mezzanine Floor (Office Area). The work includes total MEP works (Phase 1) pertaining to CSU 4
building. It also comprises external Civil and MEP works. External civil work includes soft and hard
Landscaping features, road, and tanks as shown in the drawing. The roadwork includes and internal
road and external road as mentioned in the drawing.
Installation and commissioning of all equipment for an installed capacity of 13,650 TR is achieved by
installing 4 duty chillers (2 pairs), 1 standby chiller, 1 cooling tower ( 2 Cells) and a thermal energy
storage tank. The TES tank will have installed capacity to store 25,025 TR of chilled water for
operation.
