Picturesque forest context has become a pretext to create an object open to nature, where all guests will be able to commune with it and draw energy from it.
The marriage is a symbolic event which shows a society’s lifestyle. Today, however, it is not only fun, but also style and functionality that count. Both investors and young couples are looking for places that not only offer space, but also the right atmosphere. Hence the idea to create a place close to nature, evoking simple and traditional associations.
The wedding and event building called "Lubaszka" was designed in the hotel complex Rado Resort, surrounded by pine and mixed forests. This picturesque context has become a pretext to create an object open to nature, where all guests will be able to commune with it and draw energy from it.
The investor's goal was to build a wedding and event facility with a convivial atmosphere, but in a modern standard. At first glance, the shape of the building resembles the form of a barn. It is a recently fashionable trend that evokes the traditional and simple character of buildings. The wooden finish of the building made of siberian larch shows respect for the surroundings and emphasizes its natural, somewhat rural character. In the company of the surrounding forests, it seems as if the building has been here forever.
Large-format glazing reveal the interior of the main functional parts of the building. From the outside, they lead in an intuitive way to individual spaces in object, while from the inside, they allow the user to stay in constant contact with the surroundings. In addition, large glass panes reflect the natural forest surroundings and the blue of the sky, thus giving the impression that the building blends with them into one whole.
The building is a complex of 4 interconnected barns of different sizes. Their size and shape follow their internal function. The barns are covered with gable roofs finished with a seam sheet and are connected with each other by a gentle passage in the form of a flat roof. The main entrances are accentuated with dynamic cutouts in the body of the building and contrasting colors. The functional program of the facility includes the main banquet hall (can be divided into two), two spacious lobbies, toilet complexes, cloakrooms, a playroom for children, an all-year-round bar, an outdoor grill-bar and full catering facilities to support the banquet hall. In this object can be accommodated up to 300 people for a ceremony. The main banquet hall is built as multipurpose wooden-space equipped with lighting and sound, and have the flexibility to accommodate a range of settings and events.
The interior design of the building strictly refers to the forest context and nature of the services. In the main banquet hall, there is an exposed wooden roof truss made in the technology of glued wood (CLT). Wooden and stone finishes combined with large glazed windows facing the forest create a unique and intimate atmosphere that will be remembered by guests for a long time. An additional elegance is added to solid wood and metal furniture, industrial lighting and hand-formed tiles.
