I am currently a third-year interior design student at the Parsons School of Design. I have worked for one and a half years as a Communications Intern at NYC2030 and have worked with various organizations in New York liked NYSERDA, ConEdison, and the Brooklyn Borough President's office. Despite my focus in interior design, I have experience in creating graphics, building websites, and running social media platforms. I have developed these skills from my academic and professional work.
In 2019, I won the KB Home: Building the Future award. When I transferred colleges to Parsons, I was awarded two scholarships; Design BFA Scholarship and the Dean's Scholarship. I also participated in a mentee program with the American Institute of Architects where I learned from seasoned professionals within the architecture and interior design business.
Now, I have just concluded a Store Design Internship for MAC Cosmetics under the Estée Lauder Companies Inc. During my time with MAC, I learned real-world experience about the retail store design/visual merchandising environment. I created various different concepts either for product launches or flagship locations, some that have been actualized and used for different locations around the world. Most importantly, I learned how to work with a team of amazing creatives that fully supported my creative endeavors.
I look forward to the future, as I feel confident that my current skills and experience will be a beneficial asset for my future career opportunities. I am most excited to continue to learn from others and grow into a better design professional.
