I fell in love with the idea of being an engineer during work experience with Brisbane City Council. It seemed the ideal mix between hands on reality and the science of construction.

Fast-forward thirty years and the construction industry has been kind to me. I have been fully employed since the day I graduated. As director of Cornell Engineers for the last fifteen years I have found that engineering is more than just science and building - it is a lot about people too.

Now, I'm proud to say that we make our engineering about people. We make it easy to build, easy to maintain, easy to repair and easy to live with.

I'd like to think Cornell Engineers will be bigger and better one day - but for now we concentrate on getting each job done to the very best of our abilities.
