...Announcement from UMN College of Design: "#UMNProud of Mary Begley (M.Arch '20), Isaac Hase-Raney (MLA + MURP '21), Drew Smith (M.Arch, '19), Rachel Valenziano (MLA '18), and Austin Watanabe (M.Arch '19), whose design collective, Interesting Tactics, was selected to carry out the research for Family Housing Fund's Accessory Dwelling Unit Idea Book for Mid-Century Neighborhoods study! Pictured is a heat map showing construction dates for residential buildings in Hennepin County. The yellow parcels highlight bands of mid-century housing in Minneapolis' inner-ring suburbs, which will be the focus for the collective's research. Interesting Tactics is working with longtime collaborators Erasing Architecture and Wilson Molina (Molina Realtors) for the study, which will be released this summer on Family Housing Fund's website."
