Design Researcher with a background in architecture and a Ph.D. degree with a human-centered research agenda focusing on the effects of urban landscapes on human health and well-being from an interdisciplinary approach involving landscape architecture, planning, psychology, social sciences, and policy-making.
I am deeply interested in place-making and the design of projects for people to be able to establish an emotional and empathic connection to places. I carefully investigate the human experience with places in urban settings to figure out ways to create inspiring and optimistic places for people to thrive.
