Maria is a designer and researcher from Greece. She holds the Master in Landscape Architecture (MLA) and the Master in Design Studies (MDes) in Urbanism, Landscape and Ecology from Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She is currently a research assistant at the Critical Landscapes Design Lab and has previously served as a curatorial fellow at Cooper Hewitt and worked as an architectural designer in Boston, MA and Greece. Her research is centered on representations of the Anthropocene, tracing as part of her MLA thesis ancient human/earthy histories imprinted in the subterranean ground layers of Athens.
