The purpose of the project is based on the transformation of the Prison Establishment of Lisbon in Eduardo VII Park.

Moving towards a possible Continuum Naturale in the city and work with its programmatic multiplicity, the main idea is not to look at the building as a massive, symmetrical and non flexible structure, but rather to understand its qualities and possibilities. The aim is to maintain the structure of the building while playing with its spaces.

But the complex also coexists with its surrounding environment, and what was before an introspective place, will now open up to the city and its inhabitants, generating an intimate relation between architecture and nature, man and space, between the body and its senses.
