Thanks to Erasmus and extra-UE scholarships, she had the chance to study abroad both in Denmark and China: these experiences were crucial for her to develop herself as a person and a professional. Moreover, while in China she collaborated full time for a well known local architecture firm called standardarchitecture. This work experience provided her with the chance to explore the situaton of the informal settlement Dashilar Hutong, that became the topic of her Master Thesis . She also indipendently spent extensive periods of time in Hong Kong.
Studying and working for several years with people from different cultures and backgrounds helped Margherita become a flexible and open-minded person. Globe-trotting has taught her that there are countless ways to learn if one is willing to and keeps receptive. Furthermore, living in a fast changing reality such as the Chinese one, made her develop the ability to quickly adapt to new cultural and professional environments. She is currently focused on the study of the Mandarin Chinese language.
These experiences and interests made Margherita an adaptable, proactive and trustworthy worker, who wishes to apply her knowledge, talent and passion to face future challenges in a global professional context.
