2013-2014 - The first goal we have set ourselves was to make the municipal building more accessible, visually and physically more transparent and permeable to the city life.
We have tried to establish a contact between the government of an ideal community and the community itself favoring the visibility and transparency of what happens inside the municipality reintroducing a typology based on morphological and spatial patterns of the political places of Greek and Roman culture, considering also the necessities of today's administrations, opened to the new community problems.
The reorganization of existing spaces thus becomes an opportunity to adapt to modern technology, without changing the structure typical of nineteenth-century italian buildings , but innovate and improve compliance with the old municipality building, as it is preserved in the collective memory , but giving it a new force with the introduction of new structural elements.
Among the new features - essential - to ensure full accessibility there are the elimination of architectural barriers and the new imposed rules and building regulations.
The new building should appear flexible and versatile for every needs and for every type of event that the building could host nowadays or in the future.
