The table “Sesto” reflects in the name and in the form of the specific features of venice and its relationship with water. Referring to the arches of lagoon bridges, the material acts as an instrument to reflect on the manufacturing process of the ‘gondola’ boats, to measure their curvature. The same assembly of various components of triangular wood pieces are a citation from the construction method adopted in the shipyards. This plan establishes the connection between the solid coarse wooden siding, with its cortex affected by marine shipworms, the notched intrados produces effects of light and shadows to produce an impression of historic aging.
