About

I am a seasoned architect with 16 years of experience designing, detailing and building high end residential, private estate and private country club scaled projects.  I am versed in AutoCAD and prefer the old school hand drawings when it comes to progressing through design sketches with clients, team coordination or on site job execution/clarifications.  I love what I do.  I love being a part of a team environment as well as wearing many hats when needed.

Employment

Halper Owens Architects, Greenwich, CT, US, Architect/Project Manager

I was a senior architect that assisted the principal in design through constriction documentation, detail coordination and additional typical project management duties. In October the firm lost a very large Estate project due to the economy and several new employees were let go. Jon Halper is available to discuss my work ethic, dedication and level of expertise at your convenience.

TPG Architects, New Canaan, CT, US, Senior Project Manager/Designer

I was a senior designer/architect in the office working directly with the Design Partner Braden Novotny.

I managed design details, product specification selections, presentations, team management, construction administration and coordination. This firm closed it's doors in June of 2015 after the partners separated in March of 2015. I left with the Design Partner, B. Novotny. He is available to speak on my behalf as well.

The Coastal Companies, Holden Beach, NC, US, Senior Design Architect

I worked exclusively for the Marketing and Procurement Division of the Coastal Companies. I worked directly under and for Mark Saunders designing his exclusive high end residential communities. Mr Mark Saunders is the only individual that can speak to my employment as I was under his direct supervision and employment.

Education

University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, US, MArch, Architecture

I studied abroad completing my Master Thesis work in Vicenza, Italy before completing my concentration in adaptive reuse and historical preservation. I was selected as the student ambassador to represent the university's preservation program in Quito Ecuador for 6 months prior to graduating. We were involved in the restoration guidelines and directives to establish the "clean up" of the historic downtown Quito. This was a program that worked directly with the Ecuadorian Government's Environmental Agency.
My history of architecture background, hand drawing abilities and multi-lingual capabilities served me well during my time at the University of Florida.
