Marota the village

Marota - The Village stands as a testament to the seamless integration of Damascene culture with contemporary urban living. This architectural proposal for a large-scale interactive community center in the heart of Damascus encapsulates the essence of tradition while embracing the demands of modernity.

At the core of the project lies the principle of reflecting the rich heritage of Damascus onto the canvas of present-day reality. The architectural studies have meticulously explored the symbiosis between ancient culture and contemporary society, ensuring a harmonious blend that fosters social interaction and community engagement.

At Marota - The Village, the interactive plaza serves as the focal point, creating a vibrant hub for social interaction and commerce. Surrounding this central space, a boulevard features shops, restaurants, and gyms, fostering connectivity among residents and visitors. Additionally, the community offers various amenities such as playgrounds, multi-use halls, and open social spaces, promoting recreation, cultural exchange, and a sense of belonging.

"Marota - The Village embodies a design approach that seamlessly merges Damascene culture with modern urban living, creating a harmonious environment that fosters social interaction and community engagement."
