I am Lujia Yan, and now looking for junior architect job!
I am a Master ofArchitecture graduate from UC Berkeley, holds abachelor's from Heibei University of Technology inChina. I have interned at Vector Architects and DNA Design and Architecture in China, where I acquired new design ideas and methods and gained insight into effective collaboration within a work team. I have excelled in architectural competitions,winning awards such as the 18th Asian Design AnnualAward, the 2020 Autodesk Revit Cup, and the NationalDesign Art Awards in the 14th Creative China. My work at UC Berkeley was featured in a published book, and I attended the Berkeley low-carbon structure classemphasizing the importance of low-carbon design. Vector Architect, Beijing, CN, architectural intern
Main project: Concept Design of the field museum project.
• Finalized the concept of designing the gallery as a land art through discussion with the team leader.
• Created a computer model of the site's topography, existing tree conditions, and existing circulation path at 1-meter intervals.
• Evaluated massing models to ascertain the scheme's block relationships and circulation; converted 1 of the 3 final schemes into a detailed model.
• Utilized laser cutting technology, 3D printing technology to make building components of 1:200 solid model with gypsum powder, acrylic, foam, PVC materials to create a series of solid models, including one site model and three schemes models.
• Proposed suitable references for the interior space style of the gallery and selected appropriate material texture and color cards.
• Collected materials pertaining to Land Art and the Japanese Earth Art Festival and organized them into an initial scheme concept PowerPoint presentation; completed the PowerPoint of the formal report. Due to the success of the concept scheme, the client committed to the next phase of the design and construction of the project with the firm.

• Constructed the physical model for People's Primary School in Shenzhen Futian District and Seaside Library in Nandaihe, Qinhuangdao.
• Designed and created Holiday Christmas posters for propaganda purposes.
DNA _DESIGN AND ARCHITECTURE, Beijing, CN, architectural intern
Main project: Completed Finial project work of Ziyang Cultural-Sports Center
• Generated a series of analysis diagrams of circulation, greenspace, sun diagram to inform the design program.
• Independently created 12 renderings, including 1 aerial perspective, 10 two-point perspectives, to convey the dynamic of the sports centre.
• Accomplished the construction plans, strategizing to realize 80% accuracy of the initial concepts. As a result of this project: highly appreciated by the government and planning department for the Ankang Municipal Government.
