We specialize in the restoration, renovation, and adaptive reuse of existing and historic buildings. Located in Albany, New York, we provide a disciplined but nimble approach to reinvigorating and preserving landmark structures throughout the United States.
Formed in January 2015 by four partners who have decades of experience working together in nationally-recognized firms, we have completed award-winning projects on some of the most historically significant buildings across the country and abroad. We are recognized experts in the historic preservation field, and creatively solve the challenges of modern occupancy, efficiency, and sustainability requirements without compromising the essence of the landmark. Many of our projects include significant work to assist clients in securing millions of dollars in grant funding and tax credits, and each project brings a spectrum of unique challenges that require thoughtful solutions.
Lacey Thaler Reilly Wilson Architecture and Preservation is passionate about bringing new life to our architectural heritage and our historic communities. We have worked extensively with cultural & religious institutions, colleges and universities, government agencies, and commercial/adaptive reuse clients. These projects have won over two dozen design and preservation awards, including three projects achieving the National AIA Honor Award for Architecture, our profession’s highest honor.
