In troditional factory facility design, architects normally emphasize functionality over aesthetics. However in Everbright Eco-friendly Energy Power Plant, architects from the same design team of the China Pavilion at Shanghai World Expo 2010 want to create a facility whose architectural style is modern but still features Chinese elements.LOPO terracotta panels with linear texture is specified as the cladding for the plant facade. The vertical oriented cladding panel enhance the architectural lines for the building to create quite a unique facade for the plant.
