Goal:

There is quality about a city street that resembles the interior of a home. As you walk down a street the crosswalks are like corridors, leading you past a series of closed doors into rooms you could potentially inhabit. The idea of a city block will be incorporated into my design but in a vertical manner. Each individual function within a home will take on its own block of space that is reminiscent to the separate quality of a building.  Much like sidewalks the 
negative space between components links them together and visually forms a connection from one area to the next.
