Apply for Summer Internship in 2013

My primary interest is Urban Design since I have learned Urban Design for five years in my undergraduate school in China. After I graduated, I decide to pursue the Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning in Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana because I want to gain more specific knowledge in this area so that it will make design work more practical.

I got basic skills in the field of Urban Design which are Auto CAD, Photoshop, Google SketchUp, InDesign, Illustrator, and drafting during my undergraduate study. I believe these skills are indispensable for both my study and future work.

Currently I am training in GIS, SPSS, and Planning Analysis Studio which are popular and useful for both Urban Planning and Urban Design. Thus, I believe my GIS and SPSS skills will definitely contribute to the works of intern.

I am a hard working person, and I take every opportunity seriously. During the internship, I believe that I can do excellent job by using my skills, and do my best in working groups. At the same time, I want to gain the real world experience and refine my professional skill so that I can do better during the intern, and the future work and study.
