DIPLOMA PROJECT

Concept for a temporary urban installation with an interactive character to demonstrate vacancy problems of the city of Halle/ Germany as a shrinking city: 70000 people have left since 1989.

Occupying abandoned spaces, the exhibition and its three modules [ Interactive café, office & restrooms] are made out of borrowed Euro-pallets for flexibility in adaptation to different building sizes, and to avoid waste after moving or end of project. A complementary construction tool kit was created to preserve the euro pallets in use.
Project awarded with mention and special prize, intern. 3. Marianne Brandt- Competition

Diploma work, free part: idea, concept, conceptual & technical designs (1/100 - 1/5 details), axonometric projections & visuals, model (1/100) & prototype (1/1)
