My name is Lina Essolbi, and I’m an architect from France. I recently graduated with a Master’s in Architecture, and my journey has been shaped by a passion for travel and an eagerness to explore new cultures. Living in various countries has challenged and inspired me, expanding my worldview and deepening my interest in sustainability and cultural exchange within architectural design.
Throughout my academic and professional experiences, I have cultivated a strong passion for photography and videography. My early studies in cinema during high school sparked my love for cinematography and storytelling through visual media, which continues to inspire my work in architecture today. Photography, in particular, has been a constant companion, refining my eye for detail, composition, and spatial awareness, which directly informs my architectural practice.
In addition to my creative pursuits, I have a background in theater, having participated in it for several years, which has further enriched my communication and collaborative skills.
I am serious, hardworking, and adaptable, and I thrive in team-oriented environments. My work as a volunteer on the renovation of Fort Dugommier and my internship with the APSAR Association allowed me to develop key skills such as perseverance, critical thinking, teamwork, and autonomy. Studying abroad at PoliMi in Milan reinforced my adaptability and passion for cultural discovery, while internships in diverse architectural studios in Toulouse, Nice, and Amsterdam exposed me to different facets of the profession—from small independent firms to larger organizations.
These experiences have shaped me into a well-rounded, culturally aware, and driven architect who is eager to continue growing both personally and professionally.
