The Hyper Nova series was conceived and designed for TEDx San Antonio in 2013

and consists of two free-floating kinetic sprays of moving fluorescent orange acrylic rods

meant to be lit either passively (solar), via LEDs/edge-lit fiber or lasers in 450-550nm range.

12 rods 72" in diameter x 3/8" rod diameter x 6" overall height suspended via 1/16" aircraft cable.
