Leslie has been exposed to this industry from the beginning. Her family owns and operates a highly recognized civil engineering firm in Atlanta, Ga. In 1992 she started working during her summer breaks by assisting in the human resources department alongside her mother She became familiar with daily deposits, balancing books, and pay roll. By 1994 she had begun learning and working alongside her father as a manual draftsman for mortgage surveys and site plans. There she spent the remainder of her summers until high school graduation learning, evolving, and perfecting these skills. This unique work experience has given her a greater understanding of the attributes necessary to be an asset to any business.
