Marion is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree with a minor in music performance - bassoon. After graduating, Marion worked abroad in Helsinki, Finland before moving to New Haven, Connecticut. Marion moved to New Orleans, Louisiana in May of 2017, working as an architectural designer. Marion is currently an MFA candidate at the University of New Orleans in Film Production. 

She currently lives and works in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Key work includes auditorium and cafe renovation at the New Orleans Museum of Art, entire office renovation of Gallo Mechanical, and design assistance for the Asian Small-clawed otter exhibit at the Fort Fisher Aquarium in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Lead designer and project manager on a variety of high-end residential projects as well as small scale commercial projects. Key work includes American Eagle store design and prototype work in San Francisco, California, gym and cafe renovation at the 1 Hotel Miami, and repeat residential interiors renovations for high-end, mindful clients.

Developing schematic design proposals for residential projects in Knoxville, TN while abroad in Finland. Site research was completed prior to departure to Helsinki where Marion also assisted in a Study Abroad program for the University of Tennessee with Professors Tricia Stuth and Ted Shelton.

Faculty Design Award, Award

Marion received one of two faculty design awards given to outstanding design projects presented during the final design studio at the undergraduate level at the University of Tennessee.


Tau Sigma Delta Honors Society - Review, Other

Marion was selected by her peers to participate in the Tau Sigma Delta Honors Society review.


Hnedak Bobo Global Design Award, 2nd Place

Marion received 2nd place for the Hnedak Bobo Global design award after returning from her summer abroad in Helsinki, Finland. The award recognizes outstanding design skills represented in studio projects from abroad semesters. Marion was one of two recipients for the second place award, with a third prize given to the first place recipient.
