Leah Wulfman is an architect, media artist and occasional writer based in Los Angeles. Using analog materials and emerging technologies, she works to co-opt internets and architectures of proprietary things to tell more experiential stories, and is interested in new immersive platforms and collaborative project-based practices. Trained as an architect, Leah has been assembling hybrid virtual and physical spaces in order to prototype new relationships to technology and nature. Presently a candidate in the Masters of Arts in Fiction and Entertainment program and the Masters of Science in Design Theory and Pedagogy program at SCI-Arc, she is currently developing a series of live photogrammetry models pulling from imagery uploaded on social media feeds (“instagrammetry”); mixed-reality puppet plays; as well as a fully immersive virtual reality experience that examines one’s internet presence in a physical bathing ritual.
