Immersed in the religiously saturated streets of Salt Lake City, the LGBTQ Youth Center addresses the unique challenges LGBTQ youth face. Program elements provide basic necessities of food and shelter, as well as educational and therapeutic facilities to prepare for successful reintegration back into the community. An adaptive reuse of a warehouse, the new structure deviates from the existing grid and intercepts new paths for the guests of the center.
