“Streets, squares and public gardens should be a big living room, comfortably furnished. The urban furniture should be stable, firm, oriented, resistant to vandalism, reparable and adaptable to its users. Preferably, it should not retain rain water, being able to dry fast. In addition, it should not have a superfluous exposure in order to respect the surrounding. A simple design could be the correct answer, with a neat and vigorous design susceptible of further adaptations, using different accessories, to other situations without ever losing its identity.”
