My name is Lara Zakhem, I newly graduated from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon with a Bachelor in Architecture and a Minor in Psychology, and I am currently available for work.
I was born in New York and raised in Beirut. I studied in a French schooling system and attended an American College. I spent a semester in Rome and did various internships in London, Milan and Beirut. I was therefore influenced by several architectural styles, and in the process became fluent in English, French, Arabic and Italian.
Throughout my internships, I participated in projects that ranged in scale and development phases, mostly creating residential, cultural, and transportation infrastructures. I learned AutoCAD, Revit, Grasshopper, Rhino, SketchUp, and the Adobe Suite, as well as photography and 3D printing that I try to continuously reinforce by attending various workshops.
I am very eager to start my career as an architect. I am highly motivated to pursue my post-graduation architectural education in the US, and I don't need any visa sponsorship!
