The shopping center of Boulevard Londrina, in Londrina, Brazil, is connected to a civic center through a heavily landscaped pedestrian promenade. The 2-level center has been constructed in two phases.
The concept for the 2-level, 2-phase Boulevard Shopping takes a whimsical interpretation of the history of Londrina, which was founded by British settlers and means ‘Little London’ in Portuguese. Stylized Union Jacks can be found throughout the shopping center, from the bold graphics treatment on the exterior to the finely crafted interior details reminiscent of the angular British icon.
