Kristin Greeley is a Minneapolis based interior designer.  She is also involved in the local cycling community; races and is a part of managing team for The Hub Cycling Team.  With interests ranging from jewelry crafting, to painting, and any outdoor activity.  

Professionally driven to make spaces express her artistic representation, and push the limits on conceptual design.  She thrives in a collaborative and creative team atmosphere.

Working through multiple market sectors, from hospitality to educational and
multi-family housing, in a variety of teams I advanced my technical skills with
higher exposure to use and detail, from conceptual design through construction
administration. My focus and achievements were with emphasis in forward
thinking in hospitality focused design despite what market sector the design
was in. One-on-one client communication and presentations within the various
market sectors advanced my client driven skills and knowledge in being a lead
designer. With also a dedication within the company to promote giving back
to the community I worked on volunteer committees and helped organize the
annual creative exhibition which donates all proceeds to a local non-profit along
with donating my time to local non-profit organizations.

Integrated with a team of professionals I was able to push my personal intent
of “hospitality integrated to healthcare” and also apply this idea to tenant
improvement projects. From conceptual design to construction administration
and projects internationally and local, I further expanded my design research
and knowledge base by finding practical solutions through design studies,
product and detail information and collaboration.

Advancing the hospitality sector of the Minneapolis office location, I assisted in
implementing a hotel design in San Diego, in conjunction with the Santa Monica
hospitality group. Conceived a restaurant and cafe concept in compliance
with the National Historical Society guidelines. Assisted in custom FF&E
development, design development, and construction documentation for a
casino, restaurant and event center.

In our team, 42 creative minds were able to effectively collaborate daily, to
exemplify the motto “We Create Experiences” at Shea I was a part developing
the new prototype for a mid scale hotel, implementing retail design layout, and
new and remodel of restaurant design. Responsibilities ranging from full FF&E
development to Revit modeling and rendering and assisting in construction
documentation.

The store planning design team was applying updates to stores country wide
in response to the ever changing user needs and responding to these needs
with constantly evolving store standards. With these evolving store standards
reset phases of design work are being integrated in line with ideas from the
“renew blue” initiative; updating vendor adjacencies, reflowing fixtures and
merchandise planograms.

Generated 3-D models and renderings using Revit Architecture 2012 for client presentations. Worked with corporate client’s real estate project managers, and internal project managers to coordinate expansion, contraction and new site projects ranging from 2,000SF - 9,000SF. Learned client standards for multiple clients and applied in planning phases. Conducted phone interviews with client and end user, created programming summaries, generated space plans and completed DD and CD phase working with a project architect and technician.
