Seismic and architectural upgrades to existing 1700 car parking structure. Structure is fifty years old and consists of 80' precast concrete tees over flood control channel. Scope included investigation of multiple design options including vertical and horizontal expansion, accessibility, and installation of solar panels above upper level. Responsible for management of consultants, preparation of design and construction documents, cost estimating, scheduling, alternate designs, approvals by multiple County agencies, and DSA approval. Estimated cost: $40 million.
