About

I am an energetic and self-motivated person, and recent (May 2013) graduate from the University of Arizona with a Master's of Landscape Architecture. I am seeking an entry-level full time /internship landscape architect position in a multidisciplinary studio environment. In seven years of educational training in BLA and MLA and intern experience in several companies, both in China and the US, I have gained not only classroom knowledge, but practical, hands-on-experiences in international and multidisciplinary backgrounds.

My design philosophy is to create efficient and attractive places, meanwhile meeting users' needs, especially in urban contexts by considering site specificity, utilizing progressive sustainability techniques, combining aesthetic principles and other methods thorough design approaches. As an experienced creative and conceptual designer, I have experience in public parks and trails; urban places and streetscapes; campus, residential, commercial and industrial landscape and planning, historic and environmental restoration, and community and mixed-use developments. My works particularly emphasize the design of sustainable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing public and private outdoor environments.
